These are a great way to get a local perspective on the city's history and haunts. Witch Shops: Salem is filled with unique shops offering everything from crystals and tarot cards to herbs, spell books, and witchy apparel. A walk along Essex Street is a must for any "witchy" traveler. Book in Advance: Regardless of the time of year, it is highly recommended to book tickets for popular attractions and tours online and in advance to avoid long lines and disappointment.
